Unseen Injuries: Dr. Stacie Hunsaker’s Research on Care for Assault Survivors
Dr. Hunsaker researches literature on traumatic brain injuries in sexual assault and/or intimate partner violence survivors. Her studies increase awareness and care by teaching nurses to assess for traumatic injury and teaching patients how to appropriately care for themselves afterwards.
