"The best part of my summer was spending a week with 24 members of my family in Bass Lake, CA with two of those days enjoying Yosemite National Park. We biked through Yosemite Village, hiked, swam in the Merced River and relaxed in the meadow across from El Capitan."

"My husband and I spent the summer on a Senior Service Mission at the Mosida Trek Site near Elberta, UT. We helped host over 3,000 youth and their leaders over the course of 10 weeks, reciting pioneer stories and helping the trekkers come closer to Christ."

"I did a lot of camping this summer. I went camping 4 times with my family, Backpacking with the young men for Aaronic Priesthood Camp, and to our Ward Young Women’s camp. Additionally, I also stayed at a cabin near Yellowstone with my family. I also went on a brother’s retreat to Guatemala with 2 of my brothers in which we did some service and had some fun (including a sketchy Mario Kart ride down a mountain). I was also to present with two of my research assistants at an international conference in Denver, CO."
